Kathryn Dodson has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Real Estate Agent at Reece & Nichols Realtors, where they developed advertising for new clients, researched houses for clients, and managed contract sales. In 2006, they became the Owner/Operator of Double Dinos Pizza, where they handled all aspects of the business, including hiring, training, marketing, operations, payroll, fundraising, and catering.

In 2011, Kathryn joined Jani King as an Account Executive, where they cold-called prospective clients, conducted sales presentations, closed sales, and taught sales classes to new franchise owners. Kathryn then transitioned to a Senior Account Manager role at Multi Service Fuel Card in 2014, where they managed accounts until 2017.

From 2017 to 2022, Kathryn worked at MSTS, initially as a Merchant Specialist, where they assisted in creating and building the MS Fuel Card discount network for merchants. Kathryn also developed relationships with merchants and negotiated rates and terms to offer discounts at their locations. Later, they became a Project Development Specialist, being handpicked for a unique program with a premier customer. In this role, they built the customer's merchant network for a new fuel card program and developed relationships with merchants to accept the Fuel Card at their locations.

Most recently, in 2022, Kathryn joined Bear Robotics as a Territory Account Manager.
