Helenor Gilmour has a diverse work experience in the fields of insight, strategy, marketing, and consulting. Helenor started their career in 1988 at DC Thomson, where they held various roles such as Marketing Executive, Ad Research Manager, Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing, and eventually Head of Consumer Insight and Brand Development. Helenor was responsible for developing research programs, segmentations, and brand strategies to support business growth. In 2015, they joined Beano Studios as the Director of Insight, where they played a key role in driving the digital transformation of the brand and establishing unique ethnographic research approaches. Helenor later became the Director of Insight & Strategy, focusing on thought leadership and innovative research to understand kids, teens, and families. Helenor also has experience as the Owner/Director of Gilmour Graham Consulting and as the Treasurer of MRS Scotland. Helenor has served as a Council Member for the Marketing Society Scotland and as the Chairman of PPA Scotland, where they guided the association through a period of change and launched Magfest, a celebration of international magazine publishing. Overall, Helenor Gilmour has been recognized for their expertise in understanding consumer behavior and using insights to drive business success.
