Karen Ryan, PhD, PMP, is currently the Research Administration Manager at Beacon Hospital, overseeing the Beacon Hospital Research Institute and managing its financial operations. Additionally, Karen coordinates the Irish arm of the International Concussion and Head Injury Research Foundation, leading a team of clinical researchers across various therapeutic areas. With a longstanding role as a Visiting Researcher at Trinity College Dublin, Karen has served as a national coordinator for significant research projects, managed clinical trials, and published extensively in the field of neuroscience, particularly in the context of depression. Further contributions include academic roles as an Associate Lecturer and a Scientific Editor, reflecting extensive experience in both research management and education. Karen holds a PhD in Neuroscience and a BA (moderatorship) in the same field from Trinity College Dublin.
