Mark Schmeltz D.O. has a diverse work experience. Mark has worked for Beacon Health System since 2008, where they have served as a Family Physician and also held positions as the Medical Director of Beacon Connected Care and an Aviation Medical Examiner. Mark has been a Board Member for the Osteopathic Medical Foundation of Michiana since 2005 and for Community Health Alliance ACO since 2015. Additionally, they have been a Board Member for Beacon Health Ventures since 2016. Mark has also held leadership roles at Elkhart General Hospital, serving as the Board Quality Chairman since 2018, the Patient Safety Chairman from 2005 to 2018, and a Family Physician from 2004 to 2011.

Mark Schmeltz D.O. obtained their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1994, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Washington & Jefferson College.
