David Koke has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2009, they started as a Lifeguard & Swim Instructor at the City of Burnaby, where they worked until 2011. In 2012, they had an internship as a Commercial Underwriting Intern at Chubb. David then joined Target as a Senior Business Analyst, Merchandise Planning from 2013 to 2015. At Chubb, David worked as an Underwriter, Technology & Commercial from 2015 to 2017, managing a $5M book of business and exceeding retention and growth targets. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Customer Experience & Marketing Manager at Optix. Later, David joined Relative Insight and held multiple roles from 2020 to 2023, including Customer Marketing Manager and Senior Performance Marketing Manager. Their responsibilities included scaling product marketing, customer marketing, SEO, PPC, and marketing analytics functions. Currently, they are working as a Senior Marketing Manager at Beacon.
David Koke holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing & International Business from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. David also attended Esade in 2011 as part of an international exchange program, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Furthermore, David has a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs (Cyber Security) from King's College London. David has also obtained a Risk Management Certificate from the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies. In terms of additional certifications, David has achieved the Google Ads Search certification from Google in December 2020.
