Matthew Blackmer has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Executive Vice-President and Chief Credit Officer at Beach Cities Commercial Bank since July 2022. Prior roles include Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer at the same institution, and Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Manager at California Bank & Trust, where Matthew initiated a Business Banking Team focused on commercial lending and cash management. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Bank of America and Wells Fargo, managing commercial credit underwriting teams and business banking portfolios. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Central Washington University and completed education at the Pacific Coast Banking School.
