Rashmi Korke-Kshirsagar has over 19 years of experience in biopharmaceuticals. Rashmi began their career in 2002 as a Scientist I, Cell Culture Technology at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. In 2003, they joined Biogen as a Senior Engineer/Principal Engineer, Cell Culture Development, and was subsequently promoted to Associate Director, Director, and Senior Director of Biologics Drug Substance Development (Small/Pilot Scale). In 2019, they moved to Rubius Therapeutics as Vice President of Technical Development and CMC Strategy, where they were responsible for leading teams in process, product and analytical development and innovation, as well as overseeing CMC strategy and project management. In 2022, they joined Be Biopharma as Senior Vice President of Process & Analytical Development.
Rashmi Korke-Kshirsagar received their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 1997. Rashmi then went on to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained in 2002. In 2021, Rashmi was awarded the HBA Rising Star Award Winner from the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. In 2012, they obtained the PO&T Innovation Leadership certification from NC State Executive Education.
