Avnet Kleiner currently serves as Vice President of Business Development at Be-Atzmi since September 2023, and has been the Director of Business Development for North America at CauseMatch since June 2022, focusing on partnership strategies and growth within the SaaS sector, particularly for nonprofits. Previously, Avnet was the Director of Marketing & Development at ADI Negev - Nahalat Eran from October 2013 to July 2022, and a Research Associate at The Brookings Institution from November 2012 to August 2013, working on Middle East policy. As the CEO & Founder of What Israel from January 2011 to July 2013, Avnet promoted dialogue and understanding regarding Israel on foreign campuses. Avnet also held a research associate position at the Institute for National Security Studies from September 2009 to July 2011, specializing in Al-Qaeda and COIN strategy. Avnet holds a Master’s degree in Diplomacy Studies from Tel Aviv University and a BA in Politics and Government, as well as Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic from Ben-Gurion University.
