Travis Garlock currently serves as Principal of Tax Digital Transformation & Innovation at BDO USA, starting in January 2023. Prior to this role, Travis was a Managing Director at KPMG US from 2019 to 2023, where leadership included the firmwide deployment of the KPMG Business Tax Engine and oversight of various related functions, such as user training and project governance. Travis also held the position of Senior Manager in Tax Ignition-Innovation at KPMG US from 2008 to 2018, focusing on tax planning and advisory for diverse industries. Early career experience includes roles at Piascik & Associates, P.C., where responsibilities encompassed financial operations and tax services for closely-held businesses. Travis holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from James Madison University.
