Liz Schaffer is an experienced professional in nonprofit management and financial consulting, currently serving as Director at BDO USA, where transitional leadership services and financial management consulting are provided nationally since November 2019. As Principal at Nonprofit Management Consulting since 1996, Liz has supported Bay Area nonprofit organizations with financial management, human resources, and organizational development. Previously, Liz held roles including Chief Financial Officer at TNTP, Chief Operating Officer at the Global Fund for Women, and Interim CEO at the Women's Funding Network, in addition to serving as a Lecturer at the University of San Francisco. Liz's early career included positions at CompassPoint, Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center, and Citi. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Nonprofit Management from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's in Economics from The Wharton School.
