Angelique Oomen-Adams is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and control. Currently serving as a Senior Controller Advisor and Senior Manager at BDO Nederland since January 2010, Angelique previously held the position of Senior Manager in the control practice. Prior to BDO, Angelique was a Financial Controller at Royal SMIT Transformers B.V. from July 2007 to January 2010, having been seconded via BDO Accountants. Angelique's career at BDO Nederland commenced in August 1991, where various roles included Senior Manager in the compilation practice and (Junior) Manager in the control practice. Academically, Angelique holds a Post Doctoral Accountancy degree from Katholieke Universiteit Tilburg, completed between 1991 and 1994, and a degree from Avans University of Applied Sciences from 1987 to 1991.
