Muthoni Kamande, ACCA and FMVA®, is an experienced audit professional currently serving as an Audit Semi Senior at BDO East Africa since December 2022. Muthoni has a progressive career in auditing, having held positions as Senior Audit Associate and Audit Associate, where responsibilities included planning, executing, and completing audit engagements while ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial statements. Prior experience includes a role as a Financial Accountant providing accounting setup and tax advisory services for SMEs, as well as positions as a Finance Intern at powermaxea and the International Rescue Committee. Muthoni's educational background includes degrees in Accounting and Finance from Strathmore University and a Bachelor’s in Finance and Financial Management Services from Co-operative University of Kenya, complemented by financial modeling training from the Corporate Finance Institute.
