Charlie Mock has a diverse work experience in the field of social media and communications. Charlie started their career at Kerrang! Magazine as a work experience and gained valuable insights into the industry. Charlie later worked as a columnist at Punktastic and as a music editor and online editor at Quench Magazine. Charlie also had the opportunity to work at NME as part of their work experience. Charlie then worked as a contributor at DIY Magazine before joining Mashable as an editorial intern and later as a freelance writer. Charlie also worked as a communications assistant at the British Academy and as a social media account manager at DawBell. Charlie'smost recent role was with BDG, where they held various positions, including associate director, social media, and senior manager, lifestyle social. In their role as a social media manager at Bustle, Charlie was responsible for managing global social strategy, overseeing multiple social media platforms, and providing training to new staff members. Throughout their career, Charlie has gained experience in social media strategy, content management, and team management.
Charlie Mock attended Redland High School from 2005 to 2010. After completing high school, they moved on to St Brendan's Sixth Form College, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Finally, Charlie pursued a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, graduating in 2015.
