Timothy Smallwood, AIA, is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in multi-family, transit-based, and mixed-use developments. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at BDE Architecture since September 2022, Timothy specializes in both market rate and affordable housing projects. Prior roles include Senior Associate Partner at MVE + Partners, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed directorial duties for institutional client services across education, student housing, and transportation, as well as senior project management. Previous positions include Principal at Robert Hidey Architects and Project Manager at LPA, Inc., among other roles at esteemed architectural firms. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California and has participated in the Anthony A. Marnell, II Italian Architecture Studies Program in Como, Italy.
