Leon Bresler LLB MBA has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Leon is currently serving as the Interim Co-General Counsel and Director of Legal Services, Administration, and Corporate Policy at BCLC since January 2022. Prior to this, Leon worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at the British Columbia Lottery Corporation from February 2018 to January 2022.

Before joining the lottery corporation, Leon was employed as a Legal Counsel at Overwaitea Food Group from April 2015 to February 2018. From April 2010 to May 2014, they served as the General Legal Counsel and Chief Enterprise Risk & Privacy Officer at Provincial Health Services Authority, providing legal advice and managing various legal matters.

Leon also worked as a Legal Counsel at Port Metro Vancouver from June 2006 to November 2009. In this role, they drafted and reviewed agreements, protected the port's interests in major transactions, and managed litigation matters.

In their earlier career, Leon held the position of Director at Tamm, Bresler & Associates from December 2003 to June 2005. Leon also worked as the Director of Sales and Customer Support at MTU Aero Engines North America from 1999 to 2003, managing customer support and liaising with various departments.

Leon's early career included a role as a Contract Manager at Avcorp Industries from 1995 to 1999. Leon started their legal career as a Partner at Deneys Reitz- Now Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, specializing in real estate and property development, from 1990 to 1995.

Leon Bresler LLB MBA has a diverse education history. Leon obtained a LL.B degree in Law from the University of Ottawa in 1999. In 2001, they pursued an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from Simon Fraser University. In 2016 to 2017, they earned a Realtor certification in Real Estate from the Real Estate Council of BC. In 2018, they completed a mediation course from the ADR Institute of Canada. In 2019, they obtained a Certificate in Public Procurement Governance with a focus on Procurement Law from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School. Finally, in 2020, they completed a course in Arbitrator from Royal Roads University. Additionally, they hold a Commercial Pilot License, Multi IFR and Float Rating from Transport Canada, obtained in 1995.
