Eric Nova has a wealth of experience in the IT and Quality Assurance fields. Eric began their career in 2006 as an IT Technician at Cary's Currency Exchange, where they diagnosed and solved computer issues, supported users, and maintained system documentation and inventories. In 2008, they moved to Ria Financial as an IT Technician, where they were responsible for surveillance and monitoring systems, as well as generating labels. From 2013 to 2016, Eric worked as a Flexo Press Operator at Fort Dearborn Company. During their time at BCD from 2016 to present, Eric has held a variety of roles, including Application Developer, OEM Quality Assurance Coordinator, Level 1 Technician, and Private Label Lead. In their current role as OEM Quality Assurance Coordinator, they are responsible for building and configuring servers for video surveillance systems, as well as hardware and software installation.

Eric Nova has obtained a variety of educational qualifications throughout their career. In 2014, they earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Triton College. Eric then went on to obtain an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Info Systems - LINUX Professional Concentration and an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Info Systems-Game & Program Developmt Concentration, both from Triton College, in 2018. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from various institutions, such as Udemy: Online Courses, LinkedIn, Udacity, and Microsoft. These certifications include NextJS: React Framework for production (2022), CSS Essential Training (2021), Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship (2018), and HTML5.
