Seaska Ineabelle Pérez Avilés, Ph.D., currently serves as a Structural Engineering Designer at BCC Engineering, LLC since June 2022. Prior to this role, Seaska completed a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at the University of Florida, where research focused on mixed reinforcement conditions in prestressed concrete, funded by the Florida Department of Transportation. Additional experience includes internships at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, where investigations involved Ultra-High Performance Concrete and material sample analysis, as well as significant contributions to the ASCE UPRM Steel Bridge Team. Seaska holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
