Edmond Lau is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment and financial consulting. Currently serving as Senior Investment Director at Far East Consortium International Ltd since March 2017, Lau also holds positions as a Member of the Board of Directors at BC Invest since March 2024 and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong since January 2022, teaching an undergraduate course on Investment Consulting. Previously, Lau worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Executive Director in Equity, Fund, and Commodity Derivatives Marketing from June 2008 to December 2015 and served as Vice President at Bear Stearns Securities from August 2005 to May 2008. Early career experience includes a role as Executive Trainee at the Securities and Futures Commission. Lau holds a Bachelor's Degree in BBA Finance, Investment and Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed high school at Wah Yan College, Hong Kong.
