Pierre Lane is a distinguished Senior Scientist at the BC Cancer Agency since January 2005, while also serving as an Affiliate Associate Professor at The University of British Columbia and an Associate Professor at Simon Fraser University since April 2020 and July 2014, respectively. Lane holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Dalhousie University, completed between 1996 and 1999, as well as a Master of Applied Science from the Technical University of Nova Scotia, earned from 1994 to 1996. The foundational education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Physics and Management from McMaster University, achieved from 1988 to 1993.
