Hernando Grisales is a seasoned Business Intelligence Architect with extensive experience in database management and data architecture. Currently at BC Assessment since July 2015, Hernando leads the Database Services team, overseeing corporate databases, data marts, and data warehouses. Previous roles include Head of Data Architecture and Data Management at BC Government, where Hernando provided leadership in establishing data standards and integrating data across governmental sectors. Hernando's foundational experience includes positions at Vancouver Island Health Authority focused on surgical data systems, and roles at Sierra Systems and McCain Foods that emphasized business intelligence and ETL processes. Hernando holds a Computer Science degree with honors from the University of Antioquia and a Computer Systems Technology degree from Jaime Isaza Cadavid Technical College.
