Jose Luis Elechiguerra is an accomplished professional in the field of engineering and business transformation, currently serving as Global Head of Engineering at BBVA since December 2020. Previous roles include Board Member positions at both Simple Finance and BBVA Open Platform, as well as Head of Client Solutions at BBVA in the USA. Jose Luis's extensive experience at BBVA spans multiple leadership roles, including Global Head of Data Governance and Global Head of Organization and Business Process Engineering. Additionally, Jose Luis held positions at McKinsey & Company as a Partner and Consultant. With a solid foundation in Chemical Engineering, Jose Luis earned a PhD from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
