Ian Willey is an accomplished professional in corporate systems architecture, currently serving as the Head of Corporate Systems Architecture at BBC since July 2019. Previously, Ian held the position of Lead Architect at HCL Axon from October 2007 to June 2019 and served as a Subject Matter Expert. Ian's entrepreneurial experience includes ownership of Enquiring Mind Limited from August 2001 to June 2008. Ian has a background in SAP, having worked as a SAP BASIS Lead at IBM Ireland in 2005-2006 and as a Basis Consultant at SAP UK from 1997 to 1999. Early career experience includes a role as a Technical Consultant at PeopleSoft (1996-1997). Ian Willey earned an MBA in Project Management from the University of Wales (2010-2015) and a BEng(Hons) in Digital Systems Engineering from the University of Sunderland (1991-1993).
