Rich Schumacher is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Bazaarvoice since July 2020, Rich has previously held significant roles including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Curalate from November 2012 to July 2020. Prior to that, Rich was VP of Engineering at metaLayer Inc. for a brief period in 2012, and led the development efforts as Lead Software Engineer at Digg from 2008 to 2012. Rich began professional career as a Web Developer at US Auto Parts Inc. from 2005 to 2008. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, completed in 2005.
