Adam Houston has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Adam most recently worked at Bazaarvoice as a Staff DevOps Engineer, joining in November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior DevOps Engineer at Bazaarvoice from January 2022 to November 2022.

Before joining Bazaarvoice, Adam worked at CyberSource where they held various roles. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, they served as the Technical Team Lead and Global SME for Containerization & Continuous Integration from January 2020 to December 2021. In this role, they designed and implemented a pathway for migrating legacy RPM applications onto Kubernetes using Docker and Helm. Adam also provided extensive user and design documentation for first-time users. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at CyberSource from May 2018 to January 2020.

Adam's career in the technology industry began as an Intern Software Developer at CyberSource. During their time there from June 2016 to November 2017, they worked on an infrastructure overhaul project that involved implementing a greenfield container-based platform utilizing Mesos. Adam also contributed to transforming existing RPM-based applications to use Docker on top of DC/OS for improved availability, scalability, and maintenance. Adam also played a role in building continuous integration and deployment pipelines and introducing Chef deployments for applications.

Adam's early work experience includes working as a Web Developer at North West Regional College (NWRC) in 2015. In this role, they focused on Microsoft full-stack web development using ASP.NET (C#), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (LESS).

Adam Houston completed their education history with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast, which they pursued from 2015 to 2018. Their secondary education was completed at Limavady Grammar School from 2007 to 2013, where they studied Computing, Maths, and Engineering.
