Pengfei Liu, PhD, FACMGG has extensive work experience in the field of genetics and genomics. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2013, they became an ABMG Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellow at the same institution. From 2015 onwards, they held various roles at Baylor College of Medicine and Baylor Genetics, including Assistant Professor of Molecular and Human Genetics, Director of Clinical Research, and Assistant Director. Since May 2019, they have been serving as the Director of ABMGG Laboratory Genetics and Genomics Training Programs at Baylor College of Medicine.
Pengfei Liu, PhD, FACMGG pursued their education in the field of genetics. Pengfei began their academic journey in 2003 at Nankai University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences in 2007. Following this, they went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Human/Medical Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine from 2007 to 2012.
In addition to their educational qualifications, they have also obtained certification in Clinical Molecular Genetics ABMGG from the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics, although the specific month and year of certification were not provided.
