Marcus Aman's work experience includes being the Co-Founder and CEO of Bayley (SmartLot & SmartShop), where they developed an integrated IoT smart sensor system for tracking cars and improving communication between departments. Marcus also served as the Chief Executive Officer of ShyftAuto, leading the company from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, Marcus worked at Hendrick Automotive Group as the Fixed Operations Director, managing various departments and achieving record customer pay gross profits. Marcus also had experience in used car sales at the same company. Prior to their time at Hendrick Automotive Group, Marcus worked as an Insurance Agent at Aflac, selling supplemental health and life insurance.

Marcus Aman obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Mount Olive in the years 2002 to 2005. In addition, they obtained several certifications including IBM Data Science from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2019, Pitching to Investors from LinkedIn in May 2018, Amazon Alexa Skill Builder Certification from Udemy in January 2018, Social Media Marketing from Udemy in February 2016, and Health and Life Insurance certification in March 2006.
