Wolfgang Wagner has extensive work experience in the finance sector. Wolfgang started their career in 2011 at Commerzbank AG, where they held various roles including Leiter Portfolio-Management Strukturierte Finanzierungen and Leiter Financial Engineering Zentrale, Mittelstandsbank. In 2016, they moved to BayernLB, where they worked as Corporate Structured Finance before becoming the Head of Corporate Finance & Sustainable Finance (C&M) in January 2021.

From 1994 to 1999, Wolfgang Wagner attended the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, though the specific degree and field of study remain unknown.
