Steffen Ziemann currently serves as the Head of Quality Control at Bayer since October 2021. Prior to this role, Steffen held the position of Leiter der Qualitätskontrolle at Fidelio Healthcare Limburg GmbH for a brief period in 2021 and was the Director of Quality Control at Cesra Arzneimittel GmbH & Co. KG from April 2017 to June 2021. Steffen also worked as the Head of Quality Control I at Zentrallaboratorium Deutscher Apotheker Ev from October 2011 to March 2017, overseeing analytical testing of pharmaceuticals. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Quality Control at Frutarom from September 2006 to September 2011, where responsibilities involved the analytical testing of flavors and phytopharmaceutical extracts. Steffen began the career as a member of the validation and qualification team at Biologische Heilmittel Heel from March 2005 to September 2006, focusing on the validation of analytical methods. An academic background includes a Diplom Ingenieur (FH) in Food Chemistry and Environmental Analytics from the University of applied sciences Isny, completed in 2004.
