Ron van der Gaarden is an accomplished professional in customs compliance and export control with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Senior Professional Customs Compliance Officer at Bayer Crop Science since May 2021, Ron also operates as the CEO and specialist at Esmerillon, providing consultancy and training on export compliance, particularly regarding dual-use items and sanctions. Additionally, Ron has been a consultant and trainer for evofenedex since 2016. Previously, as Commercial Operations Manager at Woodward Nederland b.v. from October 1991 to April 2016, Ron managed a diverse team and contributed to strategic decisions for the Hoofddorp facility. Ron also engaged in cultural preservation efforts as a board member at Waalse Kerk Haarlem from 2009 to 2016. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Export Control Training from The Export Compliance Training Institute Inc. and further studies at Woodward University and V-Kam Education B.V.
