Ming Xu currently serves as Vice President and Integrated Product Team Leader (IPTL) for RED Oncology at Bayer, overseeing critical Integrated Product Teams in the Research and Early Development Oncology portfolio. Prior to this role, Ming Xu held various leadership positions at Novartis from 2005 to 2023, including Vice President of Global Program Head for Global Drug Development, shaping early phase drug development, and Executive Director in charge of Portfolio Strategy and Operations. Additional roles at Novartis included overseeing patient-oriented programs and various leadership positions in Pharma QA. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Project Leader in Technical R&D at Novartis China and Lab Head for New Fragrance Research at Givaudan. Academic credentials comprise a postdoctoral research fellowship in Organic Chemistry from ETH Zürich, a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, and a Master's degree from Beijing Normal University.
