John Garrett has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 1989, they worked at Sand Mountain Publishing as a Typesetter/Camera Tech for three years before moving on to Regency Supply where they served as a Leadman from 1992 to 1995. Following this, they joined Mueller Company LTD as a Core Setter for a brief period in 1995.

In 1996, John began their long tenure at InfoPro Corporation (IPC). John started as a Service Technician and worked their way up to positions such as Sr. Service Tech & Systems Administrator, Sr. Systems Administrator, Sr. Network Administrator, and finally, IT Systems Manager, which they held from 2011 to 2015. John then became the Director of IT at IPC, a role they fulfilled until 2016.

Since 2016, John has been working as a Systems Engineer at Bay Systems Consulting, Inc (BSC), where they currently hold a position.

John Garrett attended Snead State Community College from 1990 to 1992, where they studied Computer Science. John did not obtain a degree during their time there.
