Adam Woods is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in highway design and transportation. Currently serving as Department Manager for Highway Design at Baxter & Woodman since March 2012, Adam has held multiple roles within the company, including Assistant Department Manager and Transportation Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, where a thesis was selected for publication by the Transportation Research Board, alongside leading an Iowa DOT research project focused on cold in-place recycling of asphalt pavements. Adam also gained early engineering experience as an intern at Edwin Hancock Engineering Co. and the Village of Lombard Public Works. Adam holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa.
