Matthias Gerber serves as the Stellvertretender IT Service Desk Manager at Baumer Group since November 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing a global IT service desk, leading the central IT service and support team, actively addressing and resolving incidents, managing hardware procurement, and advancing organizational services and processes. Prior to this role, Matthias worked in IT support at Weihrich Informatik GmbH from January to September 2018 and at BERNINA International AG from August 2012 to July 2016. Matthias holds an Informatiker EFZ qualification from a generalist training program.
