Gibran Reyes has a diverse work experience in the field of Android engineering and development. Gibran started their career in 2017 as a Desarrollador de Android at Proyecto Janus, where they worked until 2018. Following this, they joined NA-AT Technologies as a Desarrollador de Android from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, they worked as an Android Developer at Flink México until 2022. Gibran then joined Parrot as an Android Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are working as a Senior Android Engineer at Baubap (YC S21) since July 2023. Additionally, in 2019, they held the role of Chief Technology Officer at SOSMex App.

Gibran Reyes attended Uacyti from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Licenciatura degree in Ciencias y tecnologias de la informacion (Information Sciences and Technologies). In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification in Curso de Desarrollo de Apps Móviles from Google in May 2020. Prior to that, they earned a certification as a Scrum master from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in April 2017.
