Alex Farquhar is an experienced professional with a strong background in community engagement and support services. Currently serving as the State Manager QLD/NNSW and Community and Relationships Lead at batyr since March 2021, Alex focuses on empowering young people and addressing mental health stigma through innovative peer-to-peer programs. Previous roles include Projects and Operations Lead at SuperCarers, where Alex enhanced carer engagement and user experience, and Local Area Coordinator at Brotherhood of St Laurence, advocating for individuals with disabilities and assisting with NDIS planning. Alex also held leadership positions in retail and event coordination, contributing to initiatives promoting health and well-being. Alex holds multiple degrees in Health Science, International Development, and several certifications in Auslan and community services.
