Ali Mobtaker is an experienced investor currently working at Battery Ventures since August 2023. Prior to this role, Ali served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi from September 2021 to August 2023, specializing in technology and SPACs. Earlier experience includes a position as an Investment Banking Analyst at Teneo focusing on mergers and acquisitions, and a private equity analyst role at ESM Ventures. Additionally, Ali gained experience as an Investment Analyst at Avison Young and completed a commercial real estate internship at Intersection. Ali holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Virginia, earned in 2020.
