Rebekah S. Cross, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience ranging from roles in data science to teaching and research in the field of physics. Rebekah S. is currently working as a Lead Data Scientist at Battelle. Rebekah S. previously worked at the University of Arizona, Department of Physics as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant/Lecturer for various physics courses. Rebekah S. also served as a Program Organizer, Instructor, and Research Mentor in the Physics NSF REU program at the University of Arizona. Additionally, they worked at the University of Arizona Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry as a Laboratory Instructor and Lecture Assistant. Prior to that, they were employed at Northern Arizona University, Graduate Physics Department as a Laboratory Instructor and Computational Physics Instructor, and also held the role of Supplemental Instruction Leader for foundational physics courses.

Rebekah S. Cross, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Masters of Science (M.S.) in Physics, obtained from the University of Arizona between 2011 and 2019. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate education at Northern Arizona University from 2006 to 2010, earning Bachelor's degrees in both Physics and Astronomy, as well as a Bachelor's in Music with a specialization in Piano Performance.
