Mark Lancaster has a diverse work experience starting from 1996 when they worked as an Instructor of Mathematics at Chattanooga State Community College. Mark then became a Part-Time Instructor of Statistics at the University of Kentucky from 2004 to 2005. Mark served as an IC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at George Mason University from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Statistician as an Independent Contractor. Mark then joined the Central Intelligence Agency as a Researcher/Program Manager from 2010 to 2014. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2019, they worked as an Assistant Professor of Statistics and Data Science at Northern Kentucky University. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Data Scientist at Battelle starting from September 2019.
Mark Lancaster earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics from Hendrix College in 1991. Mark then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they completed in 1996. Mark furthered their education at the University of Kentucky, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics in 1999. Mark later earned their highest degree, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistics from the University of Kentucky in 2007. In addition to their academic qualifications, Mark also holds a certification in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) from Otto Kroeger Associates, obtained in 2008.
