Lindy Dejarme has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Lindy is currently working as a Lead Space Engineer at Battelle since December 2021. Prior to this, Lindy held the position of Senior Chemist at BGCAPP starting from January 2014. Lindy also worked as a Research Leader at Battelle Memorial Institute from October 1993. Lindy has had teaching experience as well, having worked as a Faculty in Chemistry and Physics at De La Salle University - Main Campus from December 1981 to August 1985. Lindy also served as a Faculty in Chemistry at Philippine Women's University from June 1980 to December 1980 and at Manila Technicians Institute - Technical University of the Philippines from June 1980 to December 1981. Lindy's early career involved working as a Chemical Intern at the Metals Industry Research and Development Center from March 1979 to June 1979, as a Chemical Intern at MIndanao State University Naawan in May 1977 to June 1977. they also worked as a Fisherman at Destreza Fishing Industry from March 1970 to April 1975.

Lindy Dejarme holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry from Purdue University, which was obtained from 1988 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Chemistry at Bucknell University from 1986 to 1989. Lindy also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Physics from Mindanao State University-Main Campus between 1975 and 1980. In terms of additional certifications, they have a Six Sigma Champion certification from Bechtel Corporation and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in 2016 and 2011, respectively.
