Erin Schmidt has extensive work experience in events and marketing. Erin has worked as a Director of Events at Battelle for Kids since 2018. Prior to that, Erin worked at EdLeader21 as an Events and Marketing Manager, and before that as an Events & Marketing Coordinator from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, they have experience as a Director of Operations at ITCAP from 2010 to 2014, a Crisis Advocate (Volunteer) at Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault from 2010 to 2011, a Manager of Events and Projects and later as a Project Coordinator at Partnership for 21st Century Skills from 2007 to 2010, an Executive Assistant at Voices for Education from 2006 to 2007, a Staff Writer at Explorer Newspapers from 2005 to 2006, and an Assignment Editor at KOLD-TV from 2004 to 2005. Erin's experience spans across various industries and roles, demonstrating their versatility and expertise in events, marketing, and operations.

Erin Schmidt has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Arizona, which they completed from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Communications and Media Arts from SUNY Broome Community College, which they completed between 1998 and 2000. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Pandemic On-Site Protocol Training from the Event Leadership Institute in May 2021.
