Maria Miguel Ferreira has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Maria Miguel started their career in 2015 as a Member of the Human Relations Department at PartilhaCoragem - Já T'Explico, where they tutored disadvantaged children and helped them with their schoolwork. In 2016, they were Chairman of the Supervisory Board at AEFEP - Associação de Estudantes da FEP, where they monitored the organization's financial performance. Maria Miguel also served as the Coordinator of the Internal Department of Economics at the Finalist's Committee 16/17, providing study materials to senior year students of the Bachelor in Economics at FEP.

In 2017, Maria became the President of the Organizing Committee at CESG | FEUP, where they demonstrated leadership skills. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Uniplaces as a Community Development Manager | Ambassador Program and Academy Brand Ambassador. Their responsibilities included helping students find accommodation, organizing events, and raising brand awareness through social media. At E-goi, they completed a Curricular Internship in 2019.

In 2018, they interned at Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e Porto (IVDP, I.P.), gaining experience in a different industry. Maria Miguel then became a Student Ambassador at FEUP at Accenture Portugal from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, Maria joined Dott as a Finance Trainee and later became a FinOps Manager and Seller Operations Manager.

Their most recent experience is at Batch Logistics, where they started as an Operations Manager in 2022 and was promoted to Senior Operations Manager in 2023.

Maria Miguel Ferreira completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto in the period of 2014 to 2017. After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Services Engineering and Management from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, which they completed between 2017 and 2019. Additionally, Maria obtained several certifications, including "Build Your Dream Career," "Build a Direct-To-Consumer Brand," "Fashion Styling and Image Making," and "The Art and Science of Buying and Merchandising" from The Business of Fashion in April 2020. Maria Miguel also holds a Certificate in Advanced English from the University of Cambridge, which they acquired in December 2016.
