Lisa Hatfield has extensive experience in music education, serving as an Elementary Band & Orchestra Teacher for Batavia Public School District 101 since September 2006, where responsibilities include teaching 5th grade band and orchestra lessons. Additional roles include Adjunct Instructor at VanderCook College of Music, conducting the Concert Band & Orchestra at Encore! Summer Music Camp, and performing as a Pit Orchestra Member for Magical Starlight Theatre. Lisa also functions as an adjudicator and clinician for Solo & Ensemble contests and has a long history of providing private saxophone instruction. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Educational & Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music.
