Dave Kleinschmidt is an experienced educator and coach specializing in special education and basketball. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Batavia High School since August 2015, Dave also holds the position of Head Sophomore Boys Basketball Coach at Benet Academy since June 2017. With a background in coaching for the Illinois Wolves, Dave has developed programs for middle school basketball and assisted older teams, while also guiding students toward college opportunities. Previous roles include Head Coach for sophomore boys basketball at DePaul College Prep and a history/computer science teacher at Gordon Tech High School. Dave holds a Master's degree in Special Education from National Louis University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Northern Illinois University.
