Shanee Kates is an experienced professional in the biotechnology field, currently serving as a Senior Technician-Assays at Batavia Biosciences since July 2022, where responsibilities include the preparation of reagents and maintenance of cell lines. Prior to this role, Shanee worked at Moderna from August 2020 to June 2022 as a Manufacturing Associate, contributing to the production of the Moderna Covid Vaccine and engaging with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes. Extensive experience as a Histology Technician was gained at Brigham & Women's Hospital and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, focusing on the preparation of surgical tissue for microscopic examination.
