Elaine Tennyson is an experienced animal care professional currently working as a Technician Assistant at VCA Animal Hospitals since September 2020, while also volunteering at Bat Conservation International since July 2017. Prior to this, Elaine served as an Animal Trainer and Performer at JSPA Inc from October 2016 to July 2020 and gained extensive experience through volunteer roles at the Seattle Aquarium and Woodland Park Zoo. Elaine has developed skills in animal husbandry, diet preparation, behavior observation, and public education, adhering to AZA standards. In earlier roles, Elaine worked as a Personal Marketing Assistant and gained valuable customer service experience at Sam Ash Music and Panera Bread. Elaine is pursuing a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University, expected to complete in May 2027, following a Bachelor of Science in General Science and Math from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
