Jeff Oughton is an experienced professional with a diverse background in economics, finance, and aged care services. Currently serving as a Board Member at BASS Care since May 2017, Oughton also holds the position of Principal at FIMA, where specialized expertise in risk governance, compliance, and M&A activities is provided. As Chief Economist at Economics & Beyond, Oughton offers economic and financial policy advice to various stakeholders. Additionally, Oughton has contributed to academia as a Visiting Fellow at Macquarie University, teaching economics for financial markets. Previous roles include Non-Executive Director at Giles Wade, Advisory Board Member for Victoria Leaders, Head of Australian Economics & Industry Intelligence at NAB, CEO of the Australian Bankers' Association, and Economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia.
