Omar Khalid has been working in the tech industry since 2014. Omar began their career at EarthLink Telecommunication as a Software Developer in 2014. In 2015, they moved to Al-Jazeera Al-Arabiya where they took on the role of Research and Development Manager. In 2019, they joined Basket as their Chief Technical Advisor.

Omar Khalid attended Al-Mustansiriya University from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended ibn rushd from 2010 to 2013.
