Justin Vaughan-Brown

VP of Marketing at Basis Technologies

Justin Vaughan-Brown has extensive work experience in the field of marketing and technology. Justin has held various leadership roles in different companies.

Justin started their career at SAS Institute in 2006 as a Data Integration Evangelist. Justin then moved on to Software AG in 2007, where they became the Senior Director of Product Marketing.

In 2010, they joined Green Hat Software Limited as the Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for global positioning and marketing presence. The company was later acquired by IBM in 2012.

From 2012 to 2021, Justin held multiple positions at CA Technologies, including Global Digital Transformation Lead, Senior DevOps Market Strategist EMEA, and Strategic Relationships Director EMEA, Application Delivery. Justin focused on promoting DevOps methodology and CA's Application Delivery Solutions.

In 2016, Justin served as the Vice President of Marketing at Sendachi (formerly Contino), a technology and services company specializing in DevOps and Continuous Delivery.

Later in 2016, they became the Head of Marketing at KeyIdentity, where they managed company positioning, brand awareness, and demand generation.

In 2016, Justin also worked at AppDynamics as the Senior Director of Partner Marketing Strategy. Justin was responsible for partner marketing strategy, content, and messaging globally.

Justin joined Deep Instinct in 2021 as the VP of Product Marketing & Strategic Communications. Justin led the amplification engine for the company and was responsible for product marketing, internal/external communications, analyst relations, and cybersecurity advocacy.

In 2023, Justin held the role of VP Marketing at V7, leading a global marketing team and supporting the growth of an AI data engine.

Currently, Justin is the VP of Marketing at Basis Technologies, where they lead a talented global marketing team to drive demand generation and raise awareness of the company's SAP solutions.

Throughout their career, Justin has demonstrated expertise in marketing strategy, demand generation, messaging, and building relationships with partners and customers.

Justin Vaughan-Brown attended Heavitree Middle School from 1974 to 1978 and then went on to Priory High School from 1978 to 1982. After completing their high school education, they attended Exeter College from 1982 to 1984, where they pursued 3 "A" levels in Communication Studies, Economics, and Politics. Later, from 1985 to 1988, Justin studied at the University of Warwick, where they earned a degree in History.
