Leslie Philmon has extensive experience in workforce development, training, and coaching, currently serving as a Sr. Field Representative at the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry since September 2016, focusing on promoting registered apprenticeship programs. In addition, Leslie has been facilitating lifestyle change classes as a Lifestyle Coach at the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities since October 2013, and volunteering as a Job Coach at the Basilica of Saint Mary since March 2009. Previous roles include Workforce Partnership Liaison at North Hennepin Community College, Corporate Trainer at Rust Consulting, and Sr. Employment Counselor at HIRED, among others. Leslie holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
