Liza DuBarry is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in the fashion industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Design and Design Director at Basic Resources, Inc. since 2007, Liza DuBarry is responsible for creating budget projections and staffing plans, while collaborating with cross-functional leaders to develop a corporate calendar. Previously, Liza DuBarry held the position of Design Manager at Basic Resources, managing the design process for underwear and lounge wear, including trend research and product development. Earlier career experiences include roles at Warnaco as a Designer for Chaps, focusing on knits and sweaters, and at Wear First as a Freelance Design Assistant, where preparation of tech packs and flat sketches was conducted. Liza DuBarry began the professional journey as a Coordinator for Sean John, overseeing color and quality approvals for knits and updating tech packs.
